Job Description SummaryWe are currently recruiting for a Leader, Professional Education Clinical Affairs in our Alpharetta, GA office.Job DescriptionSummaryThe Leader of Professional Education is charged with ensuring the effective planning and execution of professional clinical education programs on a global basis conducted for health care professionals (HCPs) as defined under the Physician Payment Sunshine Act. This includes various program formats, including, but not limited to, educational programs, speakers bureau presentations, online teleconferences, and hands-on workshops. The position is also responsible for managing certain continuing education (CE) courses provided for licensed HCPs, including compliance with national and state requirements related to CE programs. The position is also responsible for creating and maintaining a compliant process for the evaluation, engagement, and compensation of HCPs who perform bona fide services for HYH. The position also supports other corporate and sales force training initiatives as needed.ResponsibilitiesDesign, plan, manage and facilitate customer training content, educational materials, training programs and learning mediums (including, but not limited to l procedural, anatomic, and/or product education) for HCPs.Identify professional clinical education needs in collaboration with business unit leadership. Develop and execute a strategy for professional education that supports business goals while remaining distinct in scope and purpose from selling and marketing activities.Cultivate collaborative relationships with KOLs (national/international)Collect presenter and participant feedback on an ongoing basis to determine effectiveness of programs.Assess objective achievement for each educational program and revise/adjust future training programs accordingly.Manage the budget allocated for professional education programs.Oversee administrative management of all activities related to professional education programs, including personnel involved with the day-to-day activities.Review and approve applications for new or renewed HCP contracts.Review speakers presentations for accuracy, relevance and compliance with regulatory clearance for HYH products.Ensure that professional education activities are executed within compliance and regulatory guidelinesProvide status reports on professional education programs to management or auditor(s) as requested.Review and approve educational grant requests in collaboration with Grants Committee.Prepare content for continuing education (CE) programs for nurses and other identified professionals in collaboration with HYH Medical Sciences and Clinical Education Department.Participatein planning and implementation of educational activities at internal commercial meetings (e.g. national sales meetings, quarterly business reviews) upon request.Assist commercial teams with communication of new data, clinical development, new training materials, information and procedures upon request.Embrace the Culture of Accountability and actively demonstrate One HYH behaviors.RequirementsMD, RN, BSN or BS/MS in a health-related specialty preferred, or equivalent experience.8 years of professional education, sales, and/or marketing or clinical experience in healthcare or medical practice with relevant products preferred.Experience in hospital based environments.Excellent communication, technical, customer service and interpersonal skills.Effective oral and written communication with medical professionals, scientists, peers, and senior management, with emphasis on Key Opinion Leader development, both domestic and international.Ability to be creative, prioritize, plan work activities and use time efficiently.Ability to independently set and manage multiple competing priorities while guiding others.Ability to travel 30-50%, some international travel.If you are a current employee of Halyard Health, please apply here.VEVRAA Federal ContractorRequest Priority Protect
