Purpose of Your Job Position

The primary purpose of your job position is to process the company’s Accounts Payable daily.
As AP Coordinator, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties. Responsible for the daily processing of the company’s Accounts Payable. This position is a non-supervisory function. Every effort has been made to identify the essential functions of this position. Duties and Responsibilities
Review and data enter invoices into the AP system.
Responds to facility and vendor inquiries.
Assist with training new AP personnel in the facilities.
Assist AP Manager in processing check runs.
Assist AP Manager in maintaining the vendor maintenance master file.
Process resident funds.
Assist in the month-end closing and reporting process.
Processes stop payments and procuring check copies.
Assist with selecting vendors for payment on a weekly basis.
Prepares check and backup to be mailed.
Demonstrate respect and compassion in every interaction.

Perform all duties, as assigned.
- Secondary Education Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must have experience with the banking industry and financial concepts.
Must be detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, as this position requires interaction with professional of all levels inside and outside of the company.
Excellent customer service skills working with our vendors and facilities.
Must have excellent PC skills required.
Highly self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Sitting for extended periods of time.
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other computer components.
