At Select Specialty/Regency Hospitals, a division of Select Medical, our specialty hospitals care for chronically and critically ill or post-ICU patients who require extended hospital care. The Case Management role is vital in managing and directing a patient focused clinical plan of care developed and implemented by a team of professionals that improves quality of life and leads to a safe and timely discharge.

The Select Case Manager also performs verification of utilization criteria reviews, builds relationships and coordinates with payor sources to assure proper reimbursement for hospital provided services, promotes costs attentive care via focus on resource management within the plan of care.

The Case Manager is a key player in developing and implementing a patient specific, safe and timely discharge plan.

As a Case Manager, you must be able to deliver superior quality in all that you do. We are seeking results-driven team players who treat patients with professionalism and courtesy. Qualified candidates must be passionate about providing a superior quality of care. You must also be a resourceful problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Other requirements of the Case Manager role include:

  • Registered Nurse is preferred with other health care professions considered

  • Adequate experience in an acute medical case management setting providing the successful candidate with the confidence to manage and direct a plan of care for chronically critically ill populations
