Title: Executive Director of Health Information Technology Implementation/TrainingLocation: Atlanta, GAPOSITION SUMMARY:The Executive director of Health Information Technology (HIT) Implementation/Training manages the implementation and training for health information Technology for PruittHealth. This position provides support to the all divisions (Health Care Centers, Hospice and Home Health) and assists in troubleshooting problems and advises on the appropriate action in electronic medical record. This position develops project plans for implementation and oversees development of training and training curriculum.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate all aspects of system implementation, working closely with vendor and Division Leadership. Develop project plans for new system roll-outs, upgrades and updates. Organize and convene regular workgroup meetings throughout implementation and post go live to present and review project activities, establish deadlines and keep project on track. Perform business and clinical workflow analysis for implementing electronic medical Record for company divisions and make informed recommendations regarding the most effective, efficient use of the product features to fit their needs within the confines of any network standards that are established. Oversee provision of guidance and support for EMR for all health care divisions. Perform or oversee testing of new Health Information Technology and new system roll-outs, upgrades and updates. Oversight of development of Curriculum for education of Health Information Technology to include job specific manuals to be used during staff training for each division implementation and ongoing support. Develop on-going training support programs customized for different divisions to assist with new partner training and or/refresher training for existing partners. Maintain knowledge base for all State and Federal clinical, billing and reporting requirements and regulations. Escalate inquiries and issues to appropriate resource or software vendor and track and maintain a record of product deficiencies and requests. Perform all assignments within the deadlines set and regularly communicate status of various projects to leadership.LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited college with a Bachelor's Degree in education, computer or health care related field.
