Service Area Overview: Northside Hospital offers state-of-the-art Women’s Centers focusing on women’s health and wellness. Designed to care for a woman throughout her life – from preconception and childbirth to midlife and beyond - the Center specializes in GYN, cancer care and surgical services. Northside has treated more cases of endometriosis by operative laparoscopy and robotics than any other hospital in Georgia and is ranked in the top 5 percent of U.S. hospitals for GYN robotic surgical procedures. Position Description: Serving as the key leader of the team, the Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for providing direct patient care and supervising the nursing operations of a unit. In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24 hour nursing responsibility. Works with a unit specific patient population. Responsibilities include the coordination and maintenance of operational issues related to staffing, finance (including budget), physician relations, patient satisfaction, quality and regulatory compliance.

Position Requirements: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Three years of experience in nursing. Demonstrated ability to set priorities and make appropriate clinical and supervisory decisions. Must possess good problem solving skills. Successful completion of a management course prior to appointment, or within six (6) months of employment. Demonstrated leadership capabilities. Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
