POSITION SUMMARYThe Nurse Aide Program (NAP) Review Nurse is a member of a professional multi-disciplinary work team and responsible for the review of all certified nurse aide staff development documentation submitted by nursing homes regarding in-service topics/hours and coordinate all written communication to Peer Consultants and maintain the Peer Consultant Database. Performs other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Ability to function independently using discretion and sound judgment. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Basic computer knowledge, including word-processing skills required. Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills. Excellent public speaking/public relations skills required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Georgia Driver's License and the ability to travel statewide is required. Knowledge of principles of adult learning.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required. Master's degree preferred. Current GA Nursing License required. Five (5) years' experience in a training and /or teaching capacity required. Two (2) years clinical experience in a nursing home setting is required.
