Activities are directed towards the achievement of staff competency and quality patient outcomes. The Educational Nurse Specialist completes special projects related to performance improvement activities and evaluation of current practice or equipment. The Educational Nurse Specialist also contributes to revision and creation of policies, procedures and protocols as applicable.QUALIFICATIONSCurrent Georgia License as a Registered Professional NurseA minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing requiredCurrent American Heart Association Basic Life Support Health Care Provider Card required.AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS and/ or NRP Instructor certification preferredFive (5) years of clinical experience with additional experience in education and trainingBasic computer skills and proficiency in use of Microsoft Office requiredKnowledge of audiovisual equipment set-up an advantageEOE-Females/Minorities/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
