The Hope Center, a regional, Commission on Cancer approved cancer treatment facility, is conveniently located on the hospital campus and provides over 4,000 treatments with over 300 new patients per year from a ten county Essential Job Functions: * Initiate a nursing assessment of patient s condition upon admission. * Record assessment data in an orderly fashion and communicate pertinent information. * Assess, determine classification, and measure wounds accurately and in accordance with policy. * Assess compliance to the Clinical Pathway and communicate to the Physician * Identify patient care situations that require intervention, implement nursing actions and evaluate responses. * Document a plan of care, in collaboration with Physician, for all assigned patients. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current GA RN license. Basic Healthcare Provider (BLS) Certification required within 90 days of hire or promotion. Position requires recent experience in Wound Care Nursing. Wound Care certification by an acceptable agency is preferred.
