Job Code: 08625-6571 Part-time No Weekends This position is part time, Monday thru Friday, four hours per day with flexible hours. No holidays and no weekends! The Registered Nurse (RN) performs the primary function of an RN in assessing, planning, directing, implementing and evaluating the care of patients within the scope of the Registered Nurse. Responsible for meeting the established policies/standards of practice for this facility. Identifies nursing problems as they relate to the individual needs of the patients - plans and carries out individualized patient care. Demonstrates daily use of analytical and decision-making skills. Promotes and maintains patient safety standards. Participates in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement. Maintains cultural and diversity awareness when dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers and all other customers. Must smile and make eye contact. Promotes a supportive, teamwork-oriented environment. Fulfills responsibilities with the long-range plan, mission, vision, and values of CMC. Assists physicians with the development and implementation of wound treatment plans. Promotes good skin care throughout the organization. Acts within the guidelines of federal and state laws, The Joint Commission standards and professional and ethical practice. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current GA RN license. Basic Healthcare Provider (BLS) Certification required within 90 days of hire or promotion.
