Kennestone Regional Medical Center is located in Historic Marietta, Georgia, just minutes north of Atlanta. Cardiovascular Medicine (CVM) has an immediate opening for a PRN position with no weekend work for an experienced Registered Nurse who functions under the direction of the specified hospital leader. The RN would work in an outpatient setting with a dynamic team. The Cardiac Diagnostic RN works to ensure that diagnostic cardiac testing is performed efficiently and professionally. The RN assists with providing safe, age appropriate care to the patient by assisting with all exams provided by the department according to department procedures. The RN has the knowledge and ability to properly and safely care for the patients while cardiac testing is provided.
Required Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing: Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred; National certification in area of specialty preferred
Required Minimum Licensure/Certification : Current/active license as a registered nurse in the State of Georgia; Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association on the first day of employment in position.
Required Minimum Experience : Experience with direct patient care preferred.
Required Minimum Skills : Ability to read, write and speak English language, optimize the use of technology to support clinical care and holds basic computer skills
