District Sales Manager

The District Sales Manager will lead a team of pharmaceutical sales in promoting and selling healthcare products to general practitioners and other healthcare professionals. The DSM will develop and deliver the sales strategy and serve as a key information holder regarding the marketplace and thus, be able to react appropriately to that market as needed. They will also be responsible for delivering on all contractual obligations as agreed to by the client and Quintiles.

Qualifications:

Qualifications/Experience:

  • 4 year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University required

  • At least 5 years of pharmaceutical sales management (Primary Care) experience required.

  • Cardiovascular experience a preferred

  • Strong ability to communicate and work cross-functionally within a teamenvironment

  • Experience selling brands into a highly generic market

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a district towards meeting andexceeding objectives

  • Strong leadership, planning and organization, problem solving and decisionmaking skills

  • Coach and council sales representatives in the field to reinforce product knowledge, core selling message, resource utilization, managed care pull through and role model best practices

  • Demonstrated Track record of success and strong leadership

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong knowledge of managed markets

  • Experience in allocating resources – budget, reimbursement resources etc.
