WellStar Medical Group is looking to add a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to it's Float Pool team!!
This LPN is responsible for recognizing patient's needs and symptoms in advance and providing care for the patient under the Physician's direction. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to preparing patients for exams, assisting during treatments, coordination of tests and follow-up care, and recording treatment in medical record in addition to helping with patient/family education. A WellStar Medical Group Float Pool LPN should demonstrate competency and skills to serve patients of all ages including neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult and the geriatric population.
*This position requires daily travel to WellStar Medical Group practices which are located in Fulton, Paulding, Douglass, Cherokee, Cobb, and Bartow counties. Applicants must be able and willing to travel to the Medical Group practices located in any of these counties. Unfortunately, we are unable to make exceptions*
Required Minimum Education: Graduate from an accredited LPN program. Licensed as an LPN in the State of Georgia.
Required Minimum Experience : 2 years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required . Specific experience in practice specialty is preferred.
Required Skills : Must be organized, attentive to detail, and possess above average Customer Service Skills. Must be able to work quickly and efficiently to assure patient comfort and satisfaction. Able to communicate and understand verbal and written English language and employee should also be able to display a positive attitude (see WellStar's "Standards of Gold").
